Right of Withdrawal
The right of a consumer to cancel a contract concluded online within a certain period without giving any reason. Note: Unlike in the EU, there is no general statutory right of withdrawal for online retail in Switzerland. However, many retailers grant it voluntarily.
Real-World Example for SURS Customers
SURS informs its merchants that there is no legal right of withdrawal in Switzerland. However, it is recommended to offer a voluntary right of return to remain competitive and gain customer trust. SURS then manages this returns process.
