B2B / B2C Fulfillment
A distinction in the fulfillment process. B2C (Business-to-Consumer) refers to shipments to end customers (small packages, many addresses). B2B (Business-to-Business) refers to deliveries to business customers (often larger quantities, pallets).
Practical Example for SURS Customers
SURS offers both for a beverage manufacturer: B2C shipping of individual bottles to private customers is handled by parcel service, while entire pallets (B2B) are delivered by freight forwarder to Swiss retailers.
