Connected Retail
A model where the inventory of a retailer's brick-and-mortar stores is digitally linked to an online marketplace. This allows online orders to be shipped directly from the store.
Practical Example for SURS Customers
A fashion store from Konstanz with branches near the Swiss border uses Zalando's "Connected Retail" program, supported by SURS. Online orders from Swiss customers are picked directly from the store, and SURS prepares them for customs-compliant shipping to Switzerland.
