VAT Number Registration
The requirement for merchants to provide their Swiss UID number (if they are VAT-liable) in their seller profile on online marketplaces. This improves transparency and is often a prerequisite for selling.
Real-World Example for SURS Customers
After SURS applies for and receives a UID number for a merchant, SURS ensures that this number is correctly registered in the seller dashboard of all Swiss marketplaces used by the merchant.
