Code 220 (VAT Return)
A specific code in the official Swiss VAT return form. Under code 220, the total amount of turnover subject to the standard VAT rate is declared.
Real-World Example for SURS Customers
When preparing the quarterly VAT return for a client, SURS, as the fiscal representative, enters all sales generated in Switzerland into line 220 of the form and calculates the tax due on this amount.
