Fiscal Representation
The mandatory tax representation for foreign companies in Switzerland that are liable for VAT but do not have a registered office in the country.
Real-World Example for SURS Customers
An online retailer from France becomes liable for VAT in Switzerland. The retailer appoints SURS as its fiscal representative, who then handles the registration with the Federal Tax Administration (FTA) and files all VAT returns.
